While Happy Hollow Zoo is fun for all ages, it focuses on children from ages 2-10. This California accredited zoo offers some rare and endangered animals but also offers a petting zoo with llamas, goats, guinea pigs and miniature horses. Some other animals you can see are meerkats, jaguar, monkeys, macaws, ducks and owls. The zoo offers play areas, children’s rides, puppet and marionette shows and special events.
The zoo offers a look at animal hospitals through Doc’s Critter Care. Here guests can see indoor and outdoor hospital areas. One of the play areas, Lemur Woods Exhibit, is located along the lemur exhibit so children can watch the lemurs as they play.
There are family and children’s rides at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. Some of these include Kiddie Swings, Mini Putts, Carousel and a train ride.
