The Moonridge Animal Park, also known as Big Bear Zoo, is on 2.5 acres of land near the Bear Mountain
Ski Resort and the Big Bear Mountain Golf Course. The animals that call the Moonridge Animal Park home

injured wild birds and animals have been treated at this facility with most of then returned to the wild.

owl, black bear, bobcat, coyote, bald eagle, grey fox, grizzly bear, mountain lion, raccoon, snow leopard,
timber wolf and more. The zoo also has a number of educational programs for schools, organizations,
families and visitors including a daily FREE Feeding Tour and Animal Presentation.

acres. It will be at the opposite end of the Big Bear Golf Course. The new area will have exhibits, an
education center, amphitheater, animal hospital, gift shop and concession buildings.

- Memberships to the Moonridge Animal Park start at $30 for a year. Membership includes FREE park
admission, FREE admission to selected events, FREE or reduced zoo tickets for a number of zoos

The Moonridge Animal Park is open every day of the year with the exception of Christmas Day. Bad
weather may cause the park to close.
Hours for the zoo are Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend - 10am - 5pm every day. The
rest of the year, the hours are Monday through Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to
5pm.
Regular admission prices are Adults $9, Children (3-10) $6 and Children under 3 are FREE.
Parking is FREE.
