Where is Port of Entry Islands of
Adventure and What is It Like?

Universal Studios Resort is made up of two
amusement parks called
Universal Studios and
Islands of Adventure.  Islands of Adventure
consists of seven “islands” with various rides
and activities in each one.  Port of Entry is
one of those “islands”.  Universal Studios
Resort is located in Orlando, Florida.
The Port of Entry is the main entrance to the Islands of Adventure.  It doesn’t have any rides and only
consists of shops and restaurants, this is also where guest relations can be found.  The centerpiece of the
Port of Entry is the Pharos Lighthouse.  It is a real lighthouse that guides guests to and from the parks gates
each day after it gets dark.

  • Saving money at the Restaurants
  • A few restaurants in the Universal area are featured
    on Restaurant.com. You can purchase discounted gift
    certificates good for a set price, usually around $25,
    and you get them at a discounted price, usually
    around $10.

  • The restaurants offered change often, so search for
    restaurants near the zip code 32819.
Save on Tickets for Islands Of Adventure
  • Buying tickets on the official website can help you save $10 off the gate price on all multi-day tickets,
    and if you’re a Florida resident you save $50. As of June 2011, if you order online you also receive a
    coupon book with up to $150 in savings.  If you plan on going often it could be a better choice to get
    the annual pass, seeing as a weeks worth of tickets for one adult is $174.99 and an annual power pass is
    $139.99. That saves you $35 per ticket and you pay $70.99 up front and the rest in monthly payments of
    7.10 with no interest.

  • All AAA and CAA members save $4 on a 2-Day/2-Park ticket and $5 off a 3-Day/2-Park ticket when you
    buy them at the gate. Valid for up to six people per membership card.
