Universal Studio Orlando Florida Coupons and
Discounts offers many ways on how to save
some money when visiting Universal Studios in
Florida.

Universal Studios is located at Orlando, Florida
32819.  Universal Studios first opened on June
7th, 1990; its theme is Movies and Television.
It invites guests to “Ride the Movies” and also
has many live shows. Universal Studios is one
of two parks that make up the larger park:
Universal Orlando Resort.

Although there are not a lot of coupons for
the park, there are some ways to save:
Save on Tickets for Universal Studios Florida

  • Buying on the official Universal Studios Florida website can help you save $10 off the gate price on
    all multi-day tickets, and if you’re a Florida resident you save $50. Certain times of the year, if you
    order online you also receive a coupon book with up to $150 in savings.  If you plan on going often
    it could be a better choice to get the annual pass, seeing as a week’s worth of tickets for one
    adult is $174.99 and an annual power pass is $139.99. That saves you $35 per ticket and you pay
    $70.99 up front and the rest in monthly payments of 7.10 with no interest.

  • The website also offers Hot Deals on hotel packages, vacation packages and events and more.

  • All AAA and CAA members save $4 on a 2-Day/2-Park ticket and $5 off a 3-Day/2-Park ticket when
    you buy them at the gate. Valid for up to six people per membership card.

  • Retired or active duty military may qualify for discounted tickets.  They can check with Shades of
    Green or at their local MWR/ITT office for current ticket prices.

  • American Express Credit Card sometimes offers redeemable tickets with their membership rewards
    points.  You must have 18,500 points for an adult 3-day/2-park ticket, and 17,000  point for a Child's
    ticket.

  • Members of the Hilton HHonors program can trade points in for a 1-day/2-park ticket.  You need
    56,000 points for an adult ticket and 52,000 for a Child's ticket.  A 2-park unlimited ticket and 7-
    day/2-park ticket are also offered for a higher level of points.



Refillable Drinks & Popcorn Bucket

Cheap snacks and drinks can be had with the refillable drink mugs and popcorn buckets for sale at
Universal Orlando. Prices below were accurate as of June 2011:

  • Many locations throughout both theme parks and CityWalk sell refillable soft drink mugs for $6.99,
    Refills are 79 cents. Although the signs suggest that the refills are good on the day of purchase
    only, you can bring your mug back on future days and still get the cheap refills.

  • Many locations throughout both theme parks (excluding CityWalk) offer refillable buckets of
    popcorn for $4.49, Refills are 79 cents. Same goes for the popcorn, the signs say that the refills are
    only for the day you bought the bucket, but you can use it for future days.

Saving money at the Restaurants in
Universal Studios Orlando Florida

  • A few restaurants in the Universal Studios area
    are featured on Restaurant.com. You can
    purchase discounted gift certificates good for a
    set price, usually around $25, and you get them
    at a discounted price, usually around $10.

  • The restaurants offered change often, so search
    for restaurants near the zip code 32819.

  • Universal Studios is now offering a 1-Day Meal
    Deal Ticket for participating restaurants.  You can
    buy these tickets either online, at the front gate
    or at participating restaurants.  With this ticket
    you receive a wristband that must be worn in
    order to qualify for as much food as you would
    like - lunch through dinner.  Each time you go
    through the line you receive an entrée and
    dessert but not a drink.  Meals may not be
    shared.   
  • There are three restaurants in Universal Studios Florida, and three restaurants in Universal’s Islands of
    Adventure that accept these wristbands.  

  • If you are just going to eat at one park that day the prices are $20.99 for ages 10 and up, and $9.99 for
    ages 9 and under.

  • If you want to eat at both parks, the prices are $24.99 for ages 10 and up and $11.99 for ages 9 and
    under.  You can go through the line more then once.

  • You can also add a refillable soft drink for $8.99 to your 1-Day Meal Deal.
