The Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is home to over 4,000 animals from almost 600 species. It has the largest collection of exotic animals in Arizona. It is a privately owned zoo. The zoo has a baby animal nursery, children’s petting zoo, reptile area, small mammal’s area, giraffe and lory parrot feeding stations, Wildlife Encounters show, an African Safari train ride, an Australian boat ride, skyride and carousel.
The Aquarium includes three buildings each containing a different theme. Some of the animals you will see are Asian small-clawed otters, black-tip reef sharks, penguins, stingrays, jellyfish and crocodiles.
The Log Flume Ride is a three story, 1,500 feet long ride that goes around the primate islands and through the Aquarium’s South Pacific reef tunnel tank.
Tiburon Restaurant & Flamingo Lounge! is located on the zoo premises. This family-friendly restaurant is in the Predator building. Guests can view the fish and sharks in the 60,000-gallon tank while dining. The Flamingo Lounge has outdoor seating overlooking the Caribbean flamingos.

A discounted rate is offered to guests arriving after 5 pm. This rate is for the aquarium and is$16.99 for adults and $8.99 for children 3 - 12.
Groups of 10 or more receive a $2 per ticket discount.
A Senior discount of $2 off per ticket is offered each Tuesday.
AAA members can receive a $2 discount off each ticket for up to six people. A valid AAA card must be shown.
The local newspaper and fliers often has coupons for the zoo and aquarium.
A membership to the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium is offered for $100 for adults and $50 for children from 3 - 17. Membership includes free unlimited admission to the zoo and aquarium for the year as well as 10% off purchases in the gift shop and one FREE pass with each adult membership.
Wildlife World Zoo Details
The zoo is open every day of the year. Zoo exhibits are open from 9 am to 6 pm and aquarium exhibits are open from 9 am to 9 pm.
Regular admission prices for the zoo and aquarium are $32 for adults, $15.25 for children ages 3 - 12 and under three are FREE.
There is an additional charge for rides and some feedings. Most cost between fifty cents and $4.
The public bird feeding and Wildlife Encounter shows are FREE with a paid admission.
This shows a couple of the newer exhibits at the Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium in Arizona. The giraffe exhibit offers a feeding station where guests can feed the giraffes. A new section of the Aquarium invites guests to dine next to the shark exhibit.
